Over the past 3–4 months, we implemented several enhancements to our automation and scan workflows. During the same period, scan volume increased significantly. The combination of these changes led to a rise in database queries and additional server load, resulting in longer processing times and some scans remaining in the queue longer than expected.
To address this, we redesigned and optimized the backend to substantially reduce query volume, remove redundant calls, and improve memory efficiency. In response to the higher scan volume, we also scaled up processing capacity by increasing the replica count for certain consumers, which has helped reduce queue times.
As a result, scan performance has improved, and scans are now completing faster than before. We are also working on further optimizations to the fingerprint scan to deliver additional performance gains.
We will continue to closely monitor performance to ensure stability and drive ongoing improvements.
